I took a tour this weekend at Lanesboro and it was very interesting and educational. I now have to wonder- how or what do the Amish do for a refrigerator/freezer?

Thank You for the comment. I am glad you had a good time. As for a answer to your question, the Amish use coolers with ice or some of the have a ice box or ice house or room in the basement that they keep cool with ice from the ponds or rivers after chipping and cutting it away in the winter. During the winter time they will use mother natures snow bank.
