No two tours are exactly alike, but each features a trip to about five Amish farms.  Please keep in mind there is always the possibility of a certain stop not being available on any trip.  Visit an Amish woodworking shop, see beautifully hand crafted quilts, a sawmill, a harness shop and a kitchen cabinet maker.  You will also have the opportunity to drive by an Amish one room schoolhouse, a buggy and wagon shop, and drive by a Amish cemetery.  You will be able to see and purchase hand woven Amish baskets, rustic birdhouses, hand made rugs, baked goods, quilts, home and patio furniture, and many more.
You will spend a fascinating two to three hour tour experiencing a life you have only heard or read about.  Guests can visit farms where fine cabinetry and furniture are crafted, quilts are hand sewn and baskets are woven daily.  It is not uncommon on a tour to see Amish men working their horses in the fields, women baking or performing other daily farm chores and children playing or working alongside their parents.  Coming across an Amish horse and buggy along the winding gravel roads is also a common sight.

The Amish are happy content people who do not need modern technology to lead a fulfilling life.  They care deeply for their families. They love the land and try to improve the soil every year.

Ever imagine what it was like to live back in the days of your grandparents and great-grandparents? You have no doubt heard their stories about the "good old days" when everyday travel was accomplished with a horse and buggy, children walked several miles to attend school in a one room school house and wood had to be cut for heating and cooking. Well, Those times are not in the past for some residents of southeastern Minnesota.
