Scenic
Southwest Wisconsin Tour
This tour is
designed for large groups (44 maximum) of people with or without a bus, with
advance notice; we can produce a bus for an additional fee. Tours can be
customized to fit your group’s interest. This is an all day adventure and
only 6 tours are scheduled for the year. Several of the points of interest
have admission fees, and they will be noted below. Meals need to be arranged
in advance, they are not included in the price.
Some of the
interesting sites that you will encounter will include a visit to a vintage
telephone factory producing old and phones of distinct character, some of
which are for sale. You will pass a round barn, Perrot Park ($20.00 bus)
and Whistle Pass both which offers a scenic view of the Mississippi. Along
the way, you will see Jesse James hideout, Al Capone’s moonshine areas, and
see a working still and find out how they rarely got caught. Additional
stops could include Elmer’s toy museum ($5.00ea) which offers a collection
of peddle toys, and The Rock in the House ($1.00ea).
Please note -
no two tours are identical. All tours are subject to change based on
availability of the site for public enjoyment.
