Join us for an exciting tour of
Migrating Swans November 8-13th, 2004. We will have the opportunity to view
these exotic birds as they travel from the far reaches of Alaska migrating
south. During their long travel, they stop by Wabasha, Minnesota to refuel
for their long journey.
Along the tour, you will be able to view the beautiful swans right from your
bus window. When we stop, you will be able to view them through telescopes
and there will be people there to answer your questions.
Once arriving in Wabasha will go to
the National Eagle Center and have a first hand look at our American
Eagles. Here there is the opportunity to see them in their natural
habitat. You will be amazed at just how close you are to them.
For Lunch we have Crobag’s.
Crobag’s is like a Subway with a twist. You will enjoy the food and the
atmosphere. It is located next to the Wind Whisper West, a Japanese one of
a kind wedding dress store. Here you will get to see a Kimono and learn the
history behind these silk dresses.
As we travel around the city of
Wabasha you will learn some history about this river town. If time permits
we will stop off at the Lark Toy Company and get a ride on their famous Lark
Carousel and see the other fine Toys.
Before Departing Wabasha, dinner
will be at the Anderson House.
